Photo of the Tré-la-Tête glacier, Contamines-Montjoie, Haute-Savoie

I am an amateur photographer and I love nature. Last summer, I had the opportunity to hike in the Alps , in the Chamonix valley. During this hike, I had the chance to admire the Tré-la-Tête glacier , located in the commune of Contamines-Montjoie .

The glacier is located at an altitude of 2,096 meters and extends over an area of ​​1.5 km². It is surrounded by majestic peaks, such as Mont Tondu, Pointe du Belvédère and Pic du Frêne.

I was impressed by the beauty of the glacier . The colors are magnificent, with this light breaking through the clouds. The ice is crystal clear and the cracks are impressive.

I took several photos of the Tré-la-Tête glacier , but this one is my favorite. It was taken at sunrise, when the glacier was still in shadow. The surrounding peaks were illuminated by the sun's rays and intertwined with cloud, which created a striking contrast.

I am proud of this photo and I want to share it with as many people as possible. I therefore offer it for sale in the form of a painting.
