I am an amateur photographer and I am passionate about the mountains. I had the chance to photograph the Val-Thorens chairlifts at night , in Savoie .

The photo is taken from the center, which allows you to see part of the ski area. The chairlifts, illuminated, stand out against the black sky. The snow-covered ski slopes sparkle under the stars. The atmosphere is magical.

I used a tripod to stabilize my camera and a long exposure to capture the brightness of the chairlifts. I also used an ND filter to reduce the amount of incoming light.
