Photo of the Aiguille de Chardonnet and the Aiguille d’Argentière, Haute-Savoie

As a photographer, I am always looking for grandiose landscapes to immortalize. This is why I had the chance to capture this photo of the Aiguille de Chardonnet and the Aiguille d'Argentière , two emblematic peaks of Haute-Savoie .

This photo was taken at sunrise. The sky was blue and the mountain peaks were still covered in a layer of snow. The sunlight was soft and highlighted the contrasts between the light colors of the glaciers and the dark rocks of the mountains.

In the foreground, we can see the Middle Glacier, which separates the two peaks. The glacier is a magnificent turquoise blue and its surface is dotted with crevasses and seracs.

The Aiguille de Chardonnet , on the left, is an imposing summit at 3,824 meters above sea level. Its summit is pointed and its sides are steep.

The Aiguille d'Argentière , on the right, is a little smaller, with an altitude of 3,901 meters. It is characterized by its pyramidal shape and its rocky edges.
